Full Post: "The Cabinet approves amending its decision (120 of 2026) to include authorizing the State Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) to have full powers to use the available marketing mechanisms, to approve the applications submitted by companies that express their willingness to purchase, and the possibility of negotiating the acceptance of the sole offer, and to activate the authority of the Ministry of Oil to contract with companies that submit offers to sell larger quantities of crude oil, with a commitment to full compliance with Iraqi laws and the instructions of the Ministry of Oil."
