"Informed source: Iran considers the negotiation meaningless without including Lebanon in the ceasefire Referring to speculations about the resumption of negotiations, an informed source in an interview with Fars emphasized that "the issue of Lebanon and the ceasefire in this country is a definite and unchangeable precondition for the Islamic Republic of Iran to enter into any new negotiation process."
This well-informed source stated that "Pakistan's mediation proposal is based on the same basis" and said: "Iran's 10-point plan, which was communicated to international mediators, includes a clear clause about the necessity of including Lebanon as part of a comprehensive ceasefire. Tehran did not accept the truce until the American side and Trump himself had officially acknowledged the acceptance of this 10-point package. Therefore, in the conditions of the continuation of the attack on Lebanon, he considers negotiations to be meaningless and useless from a strategic point of view.
This source also said: All senior officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran are unanimous on this matter. This internal consensus means that Tehran's message is unified and clear: if the issue of Lebanon is not resolved, there will be no negotiations.
This well-informed source went on to discuss the countermeasures expected in the scenario of non-fulfillment of the ceasefire in Lebanon and said: "The diplomatic and military apparatus of the country does not rely on just one option. It uses several options to stabilize the issue of Lebanon's inclusion in the ceasefire."
