Airbus (AIR FP), Woodward (WWD) - Woodward was selected to provide a complete wing actuation system for Airbus’ Folding Wing research demonstrator. The system, including a power delivery unit and high-power hinge actuator, will be tested in Bremen and Bristol. Woodward will also support Airbus trade studies on design choices including hydraulic versus electric power. (Woodward)
