Air defenses activated in Konarak city, Sistan and Baluchestan province in southeastern Iran.

The activation of air defenses in Konarak city indicates heightened military readiness in Iran's southeastern region, which could be linked to rising tensions or security threats. This development is significant as it may affect regional stability and could exert upward pressure on oil prices, particularly WTI, given Iran's influence on global energy markets. Traders should monitor any further escalation or responses, as they could have broader implications for commodities and risk sentiment.
