Apple (AAPL) loses fight against EU on app store rules

- The EU General Court dismissed Apple's legal challenges to its designation as a gatekeeper under the Digital Markets Act in relation to the App Store and iOS, confirming the European Commission's September 2023 decision.
- The court also ruled actions concerning the iMessage service inadmissible, finding that iMessage's classification as a core platform service does not by itself produce binding legal effects as it has not been listed in a designation decision.
