  • AWS’s price increase affects its EC2 Capacity Blocks, which is a service that lets businesses rent out space to run AI workloads in advance, on Nvidia GPUs. 
  • Prices won’t be increased for Capacity Blocks using Amazon’s Trainium chips.
  • Amazon didn’t give a reason for the price increase, other than noting pricing is “updated periodically based on supply and demand.”
