The latest poll from the BCB shows economists adjusting their 2026 Selic rate forecast up to 13.25% from 13.00%, indicating a more hawkish stance on future policy.
A source close to the negotiating team told Tasnim that, unlike their previous texts, the Americans have agreed in the new text to lift Iran's oil sanctions during the negotiation period.
