BULL/BEAR:
- BofA Bull & Bear Indicator rose to 7.2 from 6.6, remaining in neutral territory. It said the rise was driven by stronger global stock index breadth and inflows to HY and EM debt. BofA Global Breadth Rule rose to net 73%, with a “sell” signal triggered at 88%.

- Cash saw USD 136.0bln of inflows, the largest since January 2026. Gold saw USD 1.2bln of outflows, marking a second consecutive week of outflows.

- EM: EM equities saw USD 11.6bln of outflows over the past four weeks, the largest since January 2026. China equities saw USD 9.8bln of outflows, a sixth consecutive week of outflows totalling USD 47.5bln.
- By sector: Energy saw USD 2.6bln of inflows, materials USD 1.9bln, financials USD 0.6bln and telcos USD 0.0bln; tech saw USD 2.7bln of outflows, communication services USD 1.1bln, healthcare USD 1.0bln, utilities USD 0.1bln and real estate USD 0.1bln.
- By style: US large cap saw USD 8.1bln of inflows and US small cap USD 1.5bln; US growth saw USD 5.1bln of outflows and US value USD 2.3bln.

- BofA says bonds have now seen inflows for 54 weeks, with USD 25.9bln of inflows.
- Govt/Tsy saw USD 4.1bln of inflows over the past two weeks.
- TIPS saw USD 1.4bln of inflows, marking a 14th consecutive week of inflows and the largest inflow since April 2025.
- IG bonds saw USD 16.4bln of inflows over the past five weeks, the largest since January 2026; HY bond outflows resumed at USD 0.2bln.
- EM debt saw USD 1.4bln of inflows over the past four weeks.
- Bank loans saw USD 0.9bln of inflows over the past six weeks.
While stocks observed modest inflows, the continued outflows from gold and large outflows from emerging markets hint at a preference for safety in bonds and cash products over riskier assets.
