Google (GOOGL) and Nvidia (NVDA) are reportedly looking at Intel (INTC) as a secondary manufacturing partner, The Information reports citing sources; the Co's aim to alleviate capacity constraints at TSMC (TSM)
- Nvidia is yet to place an order, is testing whether Intel can be used to make a forthcoming processor. Nvidia is also running early trials of 18A, considered comparable to 2NM technology from TSMC (2330 TW) and Samsung Electronics (005930 KS).
- SK Hynix (000660 SK) is also reportedly testing whether its memory reliably works with Intel's packaging technology, the sources add.
