Nvidia is yet to place an order, is testing whether Intel can be used to make a forthcoming processor. Nvidia is also running early trials of 18A, considered comparable to 2NM technology from TSMC (2330 TW) and Samsung Electronics (005930 KS).
SK Hynix (000660 SK) is also reportedly testing whether its memory reliably works with Intel's packaging technology, the sources add.
