Voluntary appeals to large industrial consumers, naming battery and car plants, is the standard first rung of demand response; the established sequence, if the shortfall persists, is paid curtailment and then mandated load shedding. Worth noting is that Hungary's newer industrial base is heavily weighted to exactly the sectors named, so sustained curtailment feeds back into regional manufacturing output, not just the power complex. The tells are whether neighbouring grids confirm export availability, whether the outage duration is clarified, and whether the request becomes compulsory.
