Iran's Supreme National Security Council says the Persian Gulf Waterway Management has been instructed to process and respond to requests quickly and with priority to achieve the objectives of the memorandum
- Given the special conditions and the presence of certain safety hazards along the passage route, and due to the necessity of ensuring safe transit and preventing maritime accidents, ships must pass at the time and route announced to them so that the possibility of transit can gradually increase.
- The executive arrangements and technical details for passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be announced by the Persian Gulf Waterway Management.
- Regarding other matters, including mine clearance, necessary actions will be taken in accordance with clause 5 of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
