[MARKET ANALYSIS] T-note futures remain subdued after sliding alongside hawkish Fed bets

USTs: -8.5 ticks

  • Remained pressured after sliding yesterday as yields drifted higher across the curve throughout the US session as participants remained reluctant to price out the Fed's recent hawkish shift ahead of Thursday's nonfarm payrolls report, which Treasury Secretary Bessent touted to be a strong one, while attention today turns to several data releases and central bank speakers, including comments from Fed Chair Warsh at Sintra.

Bunds: -26 ticks

  • Retreated following the prior day's whipsawing and slew of data, with prices not helped by the mild gains in energy prices and deluge of ECB rhetoric.

JGBs: -26 ticks

  • Tracked the downside in global peers with demand also contained after the stronger-than-expected BoJ Tankan survey and amid the ongoing intervention risk.
