Weekly calendar previews of this kind matter less for any single item than for how the sequencing concentrates risk. This slate stacks the US labour block late in the week (ADP midweek, then the payrolls print on Friday), with JOLTS, ISM manufacturing and services, and Challenger claims filling the run-up; in past weeks of this shape, positioning has tended to build through the early prints and fully price only into the jobs report itself. The QRA and Treasury financing estimates land the same week, and the interaction between the refunding mix and a heavy data calendar has historically been where duration moves get their fuel, bill-heavy issuance easing the term-premium impulse while coupon-weighted refundings amplify data surprises at the long end. On the central bank side, the RBI, BCB, CNB and Banxico decisions are the EM block, with NBH minutes and three Fed speakers (Cook, Musalem, Barkin) offering colour rather than decisions; single-official remarks ahead of payrolls have tended to be treated as framing, not signal. The OPEC+ JMMC opens the week, a body whose track record is to steer output policy at the ministerial level rather than the monitoring committee, so the read-through to crude has typically been muted absent a surprise communiqué. Earnings span the pharma complex, defence, and US mega-caps, with the payrolls print on Friday the natural focal point for the dollar and the front end.
