  • 12:45BST/07:45EDT: Fed's Daly (2027 voter) will give remarks at a Banco de España conference. Speaking in early June, Daly said policy was in a good place, and the Fed was prepared to respond to conditions either way. She said that forward guidance was not appropriate at this juncture, but reiterated that getting inflation back to target is the number one priority for the Fed, with tariffs and energy and food prices the key drivers. She noted the labour market is resilient, and has stabilised, adding that AI could reduce inflation over a 5-10 year horizon.
