Softbank (9984 JT) has executed the USD 10bln second tranche investment within OpenAI, the "follow-on investment"
- Done via SoftBank Vision Fund 2, as part of the total USD 30.0 billion follow-on investments previously announced in “Follow-on Investments in OpenAI” dated February 27, 2026. SBG plans to complete the third tranche, in the amount of USD 10.0 billion, on October 1, 2026.
