The EIB confirms a EUR 3bln financing package for Airbus (AIR FP)
- EIB and Airbus signed an initial EUR 1bln loan as the first tranche of the envelope
- Financing will support Airbus’ planned investments through to 2030 in areas including commercial aviation, security, defence and technology
- Is aimed at boosting research and development in France, Germany and Spain
