The UK Payment Systems Regulator will consult on profitability reporting for Mastercard (MA) and Visa (V)
- In its review of card scheme and processing fees, the PSR found evidence that profit margins were higher than expected in competitive markets. It decided to require Mastercard and Visa to provide UK card-operations profit-and-loss accounts with relevant disaggregation.
