Context

Final composite PMIs rarely move anything on their own; the flash print carries the signal and the final matters only when it diverges, which here it does, modestly to the upside against consensus though still below the prior month's flash. A beat on the final with a deceleration versus the flash is the common configuration: it trims any overreaction the flash produced without changing the underlying read that activity is expanding but losing a little momentum. For UK rates the transmission runs through the services component rather than the composite itself, since the Bank of England's domestic inflation concern has sat with services price and wage momentum, and it is the services and prices sub-indices that tend to set the gilt and short-sterling reaction rather than the headline. The UK PMI series has also historically been prone to larger-than-peer revisions between flash and final, so the direction of the revision is watched as much as the level. The relevant follow-ons are the services final and any commentary on input and output prices, which feed the inflation debate ahead of the next policy meeting.
