Tour the PlatformWeek-ahead calendar notes of this kind are primarily a liquidity and sequencing map rather than a signal in themselves; their value lies in how the events stack against each other. The structure here is a familiar one: an early-week inflation print from the euro area setting the tone for the rates complex, two G10 central bank decisions mid-week, and the month-end US labour report closing the week, a sequence that has historically concentrated volatility into Wednesday and Friday sessions with thinner conviction in between. The RBNZ and BoC landing on the same day invites the usual cross-Commonwealth comparison, where relative hawkishness between commodity-bloc peers has tended to drive the NZD/CAD and AUD-adjacent crosses more than either decision in isolation. The pairing of ISM surveys with the payrolls print matters because soft survey internals ahead of a jobs number have, in past cycles, amplified the reaction to any labour-market surprise, with the front end of the UST curve and the dollar bearing the transmission. The Canadian jobs report arriving alongside US NFP typically mutes the CAD reaction to the domestic print, as the US number dominates the shared session. Worth noting is that preliminary euro area CPI has in recent episodes moved Bunds and the short end of the euribor strip more than the final readings, given positioning into the subsequent ECB meeting.
