- One of the sources said that at certain points the talks were "ugly." Israel confirms that there were disagreements but claims that the atmosphere was "pleasant."
- Representatives of the IDF and the Lebanese army presented contradictory and rigid positions regarding the scope of the Israeli withdrawal and the areas where the withdrawal will begin.
