The Iranian blockade of shipping ports along the Strait of Hormuz has been eased, with a small number of vessels allowed to pass before the formal signing of the US-Iran agreement, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister told IRIB; reports CNN
- In the last 24 hours, CNN has verifed two cargo ships and two tankers traversing the strait.
- Data from vessel tracking site Marine Traffic shows Dalia, anIran-flagged sanctioned tanker, entering the strait early this morning heading towards the Persian Gulf.
- The other tanker, the Curacao-flagged Argo Maris, and the two cargo ships exited the Strait towards the Gulf of Oman on Monday.
