Kremlin says Russia is in constant contact with officials in Iran, Al Arabiya reports.
What it means
The Kremlin's confirmation of ongoing communication with Iranian officials signifies a potential strengthening of ties amid geopolitical tensions. This could impact energy markets, especially considering Iran's influence on oil supply dynamics, making it a focal point for traders with exposures to WTI and related commodities. Watch for shifts in risk appetite and any resultant volatility in oil prices as this develops.
