- If all goes according to plan, California-based Joby Aviation will demonstrate its flying taxi, known as an Electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicle, or eVTOL, in and around New York on April 27 or April 28, company officials said.
- And later this year, Vermont-based Beta Aviation plans commercial cargo flights for Surf Air Mobility in Hawaii, where it also hopes to carry its first paid passengers on an unspecified date.
