OVERVIEW

The US–Israel military campaign against Iran has entered its fourth day, with fresh Israeli airstrikes launched on Tehran and Beirut overnight.
The Israeli Defence Forces confirmed simultaneous strikes against “military targets” in both capitals.
Israeli troops have been authorised to advance and take control of additional positions in Lebanon, Israel's Defence Minister said.
Iran has continued retaliatory missile and drone attacks across the region, targeting US bases and Gulf infrastructure.
The US embassy in Riyadh was struck by two drones, causing a limited fire and minor damage. Reports indicate the US embassy in Riyadh was empty at the time of the drone strike, which contributed to the lack of injuries.
Six US service members have now been confirmed killed since hostilities began.
US Secretary of State Rubio warned that “the hardest hits are yet to come.”
