Iran's Foreign Ministry says talks with the US will recommence between 16:30-17:00GMT/11:30-12:00ET.
What it means
The announcement that talks between Iran and the US will recommence shortly could be significant for geopolitical stability, especially in the context of energy markets. If negotiations progress positively, it could alleviate tensions and potentially lead to an easing of sanctions, impacting crude oil prices, particularly WTI. Traders should monitor the situation closely as any developments could sway market sentiment.
