Qatar announces arrest of Iranian IRGC sleeper cells, according to Al Jazeera.
What it means
The arrest of Iranian IRGC sleeper cells in Qatar could indicate heightened tensions in the region, potentially impacting regional stability and security dynamics. This development may lead to increased demand for safe-haven assets like gold and certain currencies, while also affecting market sentiment around energy commodities, given Iran's role in global oil production.
